Microbiological Studies Emerald Irish Pork Water treatment with Pollo Sano Lehnin-Rietz Monastery

Method: Determination of the total microbial count using the Koch plate pouring method with standard I culture medium

Data in CFU/ml (colony-forming units per milliliter)

Sampling: In sterile 200ml bottles: Tank drain at the bottom and end of the line in the pigsty after a short run.

Transport and analysis: The sample bottles were transported refrigerated until the samples were analyzed in the laboratory (within 2 hours). When determining the initial germ count, the water samples were placed on prepared Standard I culture medium under sterile conditions immediately after removal.
Incubation took place for 4 days at room temperature.

Results:

  – Baseline on September 7, 2022
Tank (brown, stale tap water): 57000 CFU/ml End of line: 52000 CFU/ml

-after launch Pollo Sano on October 13th
Tank: 2400 CFU/ml
End of line: 2600 CFU/ml

Judgement:

The germ load in the drinking water at the end of the line (in the pigsty) was significantly reduced by Pollo Sano by more than a power of ten.
